Living in a third world country I know the real value of water. We don't have flush in the toilet here because it uses too much water. The water in the pipes comes once a week for around 4 hours and five different family has to share that water. Sometimes we have to wait for the rain to take a bath. I was actually helping a student to write a project about water conservation and then i came upon the site and it has helped me a lot by giving the information about how to conserve water. During the dry periods each summer, I water my tomato plants, flowers, and use the water to add moisture to our compost bins when needed. It sure saves on our water bill and water usage. I really enjoy teaching the community and the kids about water conservation and the way in savings water in our daily lives. I found this website while looking for some helpful information to put on our enotes for the month. I was able to find lots of good stuff for the clean water neighborhoodpage.
