Big month for environmental causes. What are you going to do?

With World Water Day having having just past, and Earth Hour and Earth Day fast approaching, it’s a great time to ask yourself what you’re doing to contribute to environmental causes.

There will be a lot of activity over the course of the next month and opportunities to get involved. At Water – Use It Wisely, we want to make sure you’re making the most of your opportunity. The best part part is that to make a difference you don’t have to do much at all. It can be as simple as shortening your shower or replacing a light bulb. To see just how simple it can be check out our water saving tips (which you can get daily on Twitter too).
Also, visit our Facebook page and tell us what you’re planning to do during these next few weeks. Who knows, maybe together we can start a movement.

I have signed up for the EH2ED challenge; I am embarking on a ‘Green Week’ campaign this week on my blog to raise awareness. Through my research and writing I have been educating myself and in turn (hopefully) inspiring others to make small changes.
I love the 100 Ways to Conserve Water list – there is some great advice for the non-believers out there that think their small changes won’t make a difference.
And I encourage all WUIW readers to swing by my blog for more eco-friendly info all week this week (also giving away some free Cool People Care and WeAddUp merch). Keep rockin’ on here. The awareness you are bringing is great!

During this month of important environmental issues, banning bottled water is a great step to take. PerfectBottles (www.perfectbottles.com) makes it easy! Check out our collapsible, reusable, BPA-free bottles!
Really cool idea Cindy. Thanks for the comment.
