This comprehensive program achieves water savings by raising awareness\, providing incentives\, and fostering community support. Far from being outdated\, the City’s conservation program is more vibrant than ever. \nThe success of our program depends on our children\, the next generation of leaders. There is no better way to celebrate our 30-year anniversary than with families at the Glendale Main Library on Wednesday\, December 2 from 4-6 p.m. Please join us and bring the kids! \nCoordinated by the Glendale Water Services Department – Conservation and Sustainable Living Division\, the free event will include a water conservation themed magic show\, and hands-on water education activities. Wayne Drop\, the official mascot of the Water – Use It Wisely campaign will also be there to take “selfies” with guests! \nAttendees will receive free refreshments and eco-friendly prizes\, such as a high-efficiency showerhead\, garden hose nozzle\, four-pack of CFL’s\, and programmable thermostat.
