In a state full of picturesque landscapes, the most lasting images are the ones that feature water. From canyon streams to shimmering lakes, morning dew on ponderosas to rain puddles in backyards, something about capturing water scenes in Arizona inspires awe. For the second annual Water – Use It Wisely Celebrate AZ Water Photo Contest, we’re once again putting the power of the picture in the hands of Arizonans.
This year’s contest kicked off on April 7th, and already has inspired over 1,100 amateur and professional photographers to submit their photos. The winning image will receive a $1000 gift card toward a houseboat vacation on scenic Lake Powell. Submissions for this contest are no longer being accepted. The more submissions we get, the better we’re able to show off the breathtaking nature of water in our state, so keep those submissions coming!
