ADVENTURE ALERT! – EARTH DAY AT THE PHOENIX ZOO – SATURDAY, APRIL 18 – 9 AM TO 4 PM

April 15, 2015

Water – Use it Wisely is headed to the Phoenix Zoo this weekend to celebrate Earth Day! You can visit several Earth Stations throughout the Zoo and become a Planet Patrol ZOOper Hero! Learn about water conservation at the Water – Use it Wisely booth – test your Arizona water knowledge and take home one of our super cute Earth Day duckies. We’ll also have loads of info about low-water-use plants, how to find leaks inside and outside your home, and information about Wayne’s new kid’s contest!

There will be so many fun Earth-y activities like the Recycling Bean Bag Game, story readings at the Podd Ramada, and a gibbon encounter. Head over to the rose garden at 9:30 a.m. or to Harmony Farm Fruit & Veggie Garden at 1 p.m. for the Annual Ladybug Release. Try your hand at Earth Day Trivia, meet with ZooTeen Conservation, and experience life as a black-footed ferret!
