Focused within the Colorado River Basin, the Business of Water Summit will:
- Educate and engage business leaders on sustainable water use and management, water conservation, and healthy rivers through presentations of corporate best practices and sharing of case studies on water efficiency, conservation and reuse
- Convene business leaders, policy makers, water managers, and NGOs to advance bi-partisan water sustainability policy principles within the Colorado River Basin (AZ, CA, CO, NM, NV, UT, WY)
- Provide companies with opportunities to highlight their corporate water stewardship activities via case studies, op-eds, news articles, social media, and presentations
- Watch the video from last year’s summit held in Las Vegas here.
Why should you attend? The West is reeling from drought and low reservoir levels. Demand from the Colorado River exceeds supply and regions dependent on the river may face allocation cuts in coming years. The summit is an opportunity to share innovations and best practices on water conservation and sustainability – charting a course to balance water demands for industry, cities, agriculture and recreation in the West.
