This class will give participants an understanding of what plants grow well here in the valley. For anyone wanting to plant non-natives we will try to provide possible amendments needed or we can recommend a native counter-part. Other topics include when and where to plant trees, shrubs or ornamentals, and winter plant maintenance. This program is intended for participants that may want to replace vegetation lost during monsoons, new landscapes, or yard makeovers.
