In Arizona, water conservation is a winning message.
As Arizona residents know well, water conservation is essential to life in our state. Since 1999, Water – Use It Wisely has proudly promoted this message, encouraging residents to save water through simple, everyday actions. Our campaign has remained committed to sharing water-saving tips, educational tools, and community resources for more than two decades.
We reach every corner of our dry state through blogs, e-newsletters, advertising campaigns, classroom toolkits, wildflower seed packets, Wayne Drop appearances, podcasts, local news features, workshops, and social media contests, and that’s just the beginning.
Rain is a rare sight from our office windows. Yet almost every day, we send another reminder that Arizona’s water should never be taken for granted. We don’t do this work for recognition or awards; we do it because we love our state and want to preserve it. That’s why we were so honored to learn that Water – Use It Wisely was named Best Community Awareness Campaign in Green Living Magazine’s “Best of Arizona” edition.

Water – Use It Wisely is proud to be recognized as Green Living Magazine’s 2025 “Best of Arizona” winner for Best Community Awareness Campaign.
Green Living’s mission is to educate, empower, and inspire readers to make eco-conscious choices for a healthy life and planet. We couldn’t agree more. In announcing the awards, Green Living shared:

On October 18, our team proudly accepted the award at the “green carpet” Best of Arizona Awards Gala, hosted at Culdesac Tempe. The evening was a joyful celebration of community, sustainability, and shared purpose.
