It’s the Water-Saving Event of the Year!

Join us in-person on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 8 a.m. – noon at PERA Training and Conference Center in Tempe for the water-saving event of the year! The annual SRP Water Conservation Expo brings together our community to raise awareness of water in the Valley and discover ways to conserve at home.

Deals on Smart Irrigation Products

One of the best places to start saving water in Arizona is outdoors! For just $60 plus tax* expo attendees have the option to purchase either a:

Add-on modules are also available to customize the four-station controller based on the needs of your yard. You can purchase a Hunter 3-station (limit 3, $25 plus tax) or a 9-station (limit 1, $80 plus tax) add-on module.

Classes at the Expo

Each of these fun and informative classes will be taught by experts at 9 a.m., 10, a.m. and 11 a.m. at the Expo on Saturday, February 28!

  • Hunter Smart Irrigation Controller:

In this class, you’ll learn how to set up your controller, configure your app and connect to your Wi-Fi network. You will understand the different watering options available and see how your system uses the world’s most accurate local weather data to fine-tune irrigation according to site needs.

  • Rachio Smart Sprinkler Controller:

    Be inspired by Carianne Funicelli of Strategic Habitats as she shares how sustainable landscaping can create beautiful, resilient spaces that thrive in the Sonoran Desert.

This class will provide an overview on installing the Rachio controller, configuring zones and using different schedule types. Additionally, you’ll receive training on the Rachio app and how to update settings from your phone to ensure you’re irrigating efficiently.

  • Irrigation 101:

Whether you plan on doing it yourself or hiring a professional, this class will teach you what to look for and the questions to ask before you start. Learn about key irrigation components, features, benefits and applications. Special emphasis will be placed on high-efficiency irrigation products. There will be a live water demo showcasing discounted products to those attending the SRP Water Conservation Expo. (Note: This class does not cover flood irrigation.)

  • Sustainable Landscaping in the Sonoran Desert:

Your landscape can be a functional desert ecosystem that provides year-round beauty. Learn principles that will help you to make sensible landscape management decisions that are in harmony with the Sonoran Desert. We will cover a variety of native plant species that you can use successfully to promote pollinators and wildlife while using limited water resources wisely.
